Here at Sisters Uplifting Sisters Inc., we are all about uplifting our sisters in and through their time of need. Since 2021, we have been a safe haven for our teen sisters age 13-17 to live and thrive by plans of furthering their education, help with career goals or employment opportunities, as well as how to obtain and maintain housing when the time comes. SUS is a place for our teen sisters who may be a product of the foster system, victims of sexual assault or domestic violence can come together, connect on a deeper level and overcome most of their obstacles through team building exercises, group discussions, community/park clean up, and food giveaways. Providing our sisters with a safe and supportive environment also enables them to have a higher sense of self-worth.
